Touristic information
Logroño is the capital of the Autonomous Community of La Rioja. The Ebro River crosses the town, embracing it in its growth and development. The city is currently experiencing a notable change compared to recent years. It is providing new services and infrastructures that give it a greater appeal and a new point of view to make it a benchmark and meeting point between the cities around it.
Among the best known virtues of the city, it is worth highlighting the Camino de Santiago, the Old Town, the culture of wine and the gastronomy. An indispensable visit to enjoy is the famous Laurel Street and its surroundings. It is very common in La Rioja to go out and wander from bar to bar, trying each house specialty with a glass of good wine, combining Rioja's flavors. The variety of “pinchos”, specialties and ingredients is never-ending and so is the imagination of the chefs working hard inside La Rioja's bars.
The dimensions of the city invite you to stroll and leisurely enjoy its significant enclaves. The Ebro Park and the bridges, with their magnificent view of the old facade of the city, the Cathedral of Santa María de La Redonda, the characteristic Portales street, the churches of Santiago El Real and Santa María de Palacio and the Walk of El Espolón are some examples of places of interest that cannot be missed.
